From the very first email with Hayley I knew I was going absolutely adore her little family. I met Hayley, Sylvester and their little one, in the summer for their Engagement Session, They were so much fun, chilled out, relaxed and their wedding was no different. Hayley got ready at her house with her girls, they had a lovely relaxed morning at the hair dressers and came back to chill, apply a bit of make up and generally have a laugh. She looked absolutely stunning in her customised Essense of Australia dress and her bridesmaids in matching dusky pink floor length dresses. Hayley planned to walk down the aisle with her father following behind their little boy and niece. The music began and everyone was waiting patiently for the children to walk down the isle… after about 20 seconds of Syl waiting patiently for his bride the two little ones ran, dancing and singing right up to the front, it was so cute and so unpredictable! They had a lovely little ceremony at St John’s in Lawley with close family and friends and then headed to The Green Wood Center in Coalbrookdale for their reception. The outside was decorated with an African style bunting and the reception room was filled with lots of beautiful details, birdcages, vintage suitcases, flowers and one of the walls was dedicated to Syl’s family and friends back in Sierra Leone. It was just so personal and had so many sweet little touches, I could have spent an hour taking photos of the details alone. As around a quarter of the guest were children Hayley and Syl planned little goodies bags for the kids to keep them entertained whilst the adults ate, drank and enjoyed the beautiful October day. I remember when I first spoke to Hayley she expressed how important the photography was to them as they really wanted to be able to show Sylvester’s family the story of their day when they head back there next year. So once the kids had all the equipment to keep themselves entertained I stole the two of them away to get some beautiful photos of just the two of them on this super special day. I just absolutely loved how happy these two make each other! I real joy to photograph! There was dancing, a cake made of cheese and goodies boxes for everyone to take home with them. Everyone had such a wonderful day and it was amazing to talk to so many of the guests and hear them speak nothing but kind, loving words about the couple. It was a wonderful day and I am so happy you chose me to be your wedding photographer! Hope I get to photograph your little family again in the not too distant future 😉 Here are your photos 🙂 xxx
