HINDU WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | LADYWOOD ESTATE WEDDING | PART II

Paul and Anj’s Hindu Ceremony took place in the second half of their amazing Wedding day at Ladywood Estate in Rutland (Check out their Civil in Part II here) Paul mingled and celebrated with their guests whilst Anj went to get ready into her Indian Wedding Outfit, oh my goodness, she looked Incredible – the Gold, Red and Cream in her Sari was just an absolutely gorgeous colour combination. The area of the Wedding Pavilion they had made for their Hindu ceremony had been kept a secret – hidden from all of their family and friends and it was such an incredible area, decorated so beautifully with blue, pink lighting and fairy lights draped across the ceilings. All their guests took their seat and Anj’s family greeted Paul’s family in the Mandup and Paul took center stage awaiting his Indian bride for the second time this day. A child from each family held up a barrier so Paul couldn’t see, as Anj made her amazing entrance with her brothers and uncles. I absolutely LOVE Hindu Ceremonies, so many traditions, rituals carried out for both the bride and groom, and I just loved that it was all translated for the multi cultural audience. A few favourite moments for me where when they exchanged garland at the front of the Mandup and then when they were invited in a bit of a competition… who ever sits down gets to make the decision for the future of their whole relationships, They both stayed standing waiting for the other to take the seat, and all the future decisions. It was so sweet – what a couple!!! After their ceremony we took them away for 5 minutes of space to themselves, then Paul headed off to get into his suit before their wedding breakfast and amazing speeches – so much emotion from every single speaker – and what a dream room to photograph in!
